Great little hidden gem in a very popular area. Big room for a twin and everything you need for a night or two away.
Absolutely brilliant stay at Hazler Lodge. It was made up perfectly with so many thoughtful touches. Bridget is so kind and has put together a fantastic place to stay. Amazing breakfast spread, so clean and warm and nothing was too much trouble. 10/10 would recommend you stay here. Thank you so much for a great weekend stay here
A quite sweet little stopover, basic but cosy and very convenient for Church Stretton
Very good location with ample parking and easy access to the town centre which is about a 15 minute walk although up hill on the way back but after an evening in the lovely pubs and eateries in Church Stretton, that’s not a bad thing. The lodge is very well equipped with everything you need including your breakfast and drinks. Nice large bedroom with a king size (or possibly super king size) bed. Nice bathroom with toiletries thrown in. Lovely enclosed garden with a patio and table and chairs for your own private use. It was incredibly warm during our stay and weren’t really able to do quite as much walking as planned. Which is a bit of a shame as Hazler Lodge is really well placed to walk to Caer Caradoc. We did manage a late afternoon walk up to the Gaer Stone and across Bowdler Hill to Hope Bowdler. Access to this walk is really quick from Hazler Lodge and you can be up on Bowdler Hill in about 15 minutes. Bridget and Chris are very friendly and helpful hosts and very easy going. If you are heading to the lovely town of Church Stretton, we would both recommend Hazler Lodge. Hope to return again soon.
Bridget provided everything we could ever need to enhance our time here. Lovely lodge, very clean, more than ample breakfast, very comfy bed - appreciated the little thoughts - outside cushions & umbrella etc. Made it easy to relax & enjoy the lovely area.
Beautiful rooms looks nicley furnished " lovley part of church Stretton" would definitely try and book in here if i was visiting the area?
Only stayed for one night but it was perfect. The bed was super comfy. The whole place was the perfect size for a couple could even say more than enough space! Would have loved to have been able to stay longer and make the most of everything that was available
Well presented, clean, comfortable and lots of thoughtful extras in the room. Tiny fridge for milk and water, range of teas and coffees. Wine glasses, tumblers and reasonably sized quality mugs. Ample car parking spaces. Table with 2 chairs in outdoor patio area specific to the room.
